 How to Experience a New Life in Christ!

Everyone is a sinner and is separated from God.  "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God" Romans 3:23

God loved us all so much that He gave His Son to die for our sins.  "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us" Romans 5:8

Death means separation forever from God.  Eternal life comes by trusting Jesus Christ.  "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord"
Romans 6:23

In order to begin a new life in Christ (be saved), you must believe that Jesus died for your sins and declare that you accept Him as Savior.  "If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved" Romans 10:9

This is God's promise to you - if you accept Jesus, He will accept you.  "For whoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved" Romans 10:13

If you would like to accept Jesus now, pray the following prayer...

"Father, I know that I have grieved your Spirit and broken your commandments and that my sins have kept me from building an intimate relationship with you. I am so sorry Father, and I so want to turn from my sinful past and live a life that leads to you only. Please forgive me Father, and I ask that you help me from sinning against you again. I believe that you are God the Father, maker of Heaven and Earth and that your son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, and is alive today in our hearts through the Power of the Holy Spirit.  I accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior and I so want to live the life that you have intended in my life.   I pray Father too that you will teach me to trust and obey you all the days of my life.  I ask these things in Jesus' Name - Amen."

Have mercy on me, O God,
according to your unfailing love;
according to your great compassion
blot out my transgressions.
Wash away all my iniquity
and cleanse me from my sin.

For I know my transgressions,
and my sin is always before me.
Against you, you only, have I sinned
and done what is evil in your sight;
so you are right in your verdict
and justified when you judge.

Psalm 51: 1-4 (NIV)

Do you have a Holy Bible to keep you grounded in God's Word?  It is important to meditate on God's Word on a regular daily basis (in the morning when you rise, and before retiring in the evening).  If you try to manage daily in your own strength, you will soon find yourself drifting away from God.  Pray daily that the Power of the Holy Spirit will guide your way as you begin your life journey anew.

If you do not have a Holy Bible, please contact Sowing The Word Ministries, Inc., via email at prayerfully@sowingtheword4him.org  and may God richly bless you as you trust and obey Him.

And now, "The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the LORD turn his face toward you and give you peace."  Amen  ~Numbers 6:24-26

Sowing the Word Ministries, Inc. is a non-profit organization that was founded by faith in Christ Jesus by the Power of the Holy Spirit.  Our mission is to share God's good news with others so they may develop an intimate relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ.  This ministry is all to God's honor and glory!
